The network of Green Deal parties has a clear common focus: putting food forests in the Netherlands on the map. But as you indicate, there are many different parties that of course all have their own interests. The focus is the same, but the ideas about how to get there are different. I think that is typical when you deal with such a pioneering subject.
My aim is to have parties work together as much as possible in the field of research providing data to substantiate or disprove the validness of the many promises. In addition, I think it is also necessary to link research that looks at major social shifts in value systems and the relationship between humans and their (natural) environment. I’m excited to explore whether this fundamentally different approach to food production remains a niche or has the potential to become a regime. Do you agree Melle?
