I share your idea that there is much to be gained by working together. This is also why the Green Deal Food Forests was created. However, working together is often more complicated than it sounds. The Green Deal has also evolved. Initially conceived as a letter of intent, it has increasingly become an organization. New parties continue to join. Everyone agrees that there should be a follow-up to the green deal. The only question is what should such a sequel actually look like? It’s tempting to think everyone wants the same thing. The trick is to get to a point where we can also discuss our differences. Not only in what we want, but also in why we want it, why it is important to us, why it is important to our organization. We all want to make the food forest dream a reality. In any case, a lot is happening and I’m glad that I was allowed to be part of it for a little while. Although there is still a long way to go, the food forest world is getting bigger and stronger. I wonder what my role will be in this. And how do you proceed now?
